Pool Builder Black Rock Swimming Pool, Spa and Landscaping

A beautiful 1940s timber home in Melbourne’s Black Rock had its backyard transformed with a swimming pool, spa and landscaping through the use of natural materials and clever design elements.

The design brief was to create an illusion of space, to provide an interesting and innovative feel to the backyard. Kiama Pools & Landscapes achieved this in a number of ways. LED strips feature around the edges of the concrete pads. Lighting is used to highlight the Bluestone, the deck has been raised to establish a great viewing platform, as the pool, spa and landscape garden lighting really light up the space at night.

Pool Fence Builders

The fence is another interesting element to the project. Being powder-coated steel, the palings were put together in one metre pieces by a steel engineer and the challenge for the team at Kiama Pools & Landscapes was to ensure they were installed correctly so the vertical illusion was carried through.

Premium Bluestone crazy pavers were used throughout the design and a 20,000 litre water tank will keep the landscape watered. Kiama Pools & Landscapes were commissioned as the pool builder and licenced landscapers for this project
